GENEVA, 23 SEPTEMBER: AN EVENING OF CULTURE AND WINE
The Cultural Group of the Japan Club of Geneva is organising an evening of Culture and Wine with Yuko Matsuoka Harris as guest speaker on Wednesday 23 September. The evening will be held at the new Japan Club premises in the charming Old City of Geneva. As many people have heard in cities across Japan, members of the Geneva Club will have a chance to hear first-hand the story of how Yuko Matsuoka Harris brought the famous Harry Potter series to an entire generation of young readers in Japan. What could be more natural – and agreeable – than to follow this magical story with convivial tasting of the latest wines from Phoenix Wine Club in neighbouring Burgundy. Club Director Antoine Roméro will be on hand to arrange the tasting, and also to give latest updates on the harvest for the 2015 vintage – which so far looks to be very promising in quality.
The organizer for the evening is Mr Kiyoshi Shibata, chair of the JCG Cultural Group.
